Sonora Cinematic is excited to present Porphyra Hybrid, an innovative Kontakt Player synthesizer created in collaboration with Ocean Swift Synthesis which combines a powerful wavetable engine with sampling capabilities, bringing precision control and rich sonic textures far beyond typical sample-wavetable hybrids.

Porphyra Hybrid comprises a unique dual-layer engine that combines the power of a wavetable synthesizer on one layer and a sampler on the other. There’s also an abundance of modulation options, a vast array of sampled sounds and wavetables, plus the ability to import your own samples offering extensive sound exploration and manipulation capabilities that take advantage of Kontakt 8’s new state of the art synthesis features and high-quality effects.

Whether crafting lush pads, vibrant leads, or intricate atmospheric textures, music producers and composers can now customise their soundscapes with exceptional precision and depth.
